11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

This dissertation not only contributes to systematizing and updating some theoretical issues related to active participation in social activities, but also designs a theoretical framework and a set of tools for measuring the active participation of workers in social activities.

Overall positivity was only at an average level (Overall mean = 3.06, Standard deviation = 0.46). Persistence and awareness were the highest-scoring components compared to the other two.

- The research results from two typical cases also provide deeper insights into the behavior of highly and low-active employees. In addition, it has identified several factors that most significantly influence active participation in social activities.

- Experimental results show that it is possible to enhance the active participation of workers in social activities through training and dissemination of information about the value and significance of participating in social activities.

The research results also indicate that active participation in social activities is influenced by all the factors surveyed; among them, working conditions, company policies, and responsibility have the strongest influence on active participation in social activities.

The research findings of this thesis serve as a valuable reference for the theory and practice of trade union studies at the University of Trade Unions, for trade union officials, and for business managers.
