Research purpose:The analysis clarifies the prerequisites for the formation and content of Aristotle's ethical thought, thereby evaluating its significance for the improvement of Vietnamese human ethics today.
Research object:Aristotle's ethical thought and its values for perfecting Vietnamese human ethics today.

The thesis mainly uses philosophical approach, along with research methods such as: logic - history, analysis - synthesis, deduction, induction, comparison, abstraction, generalization, etc. In some specific cases, it is combined with interdisciplinary approach.
3. Main results and conclusions
3.1. Main results
One is, overview of research related to the thesis topic.
Second,analyze and clarify the socio-economic, legal and polis context; culture, art and science and ideological premises, especially the life and career of Aristotle as the self-premise for the formation of his ethical thought.
Three is, clarifying the basic contents of Aristotle's ethical thought on: ethics and moral education, on moderateness, on goodness and justice.

- Based on the goal of building Vietnamese people to meet the development needs of the country in the context of a socialist-oriented market economy, globalization and international integration, along with urgent issues of perfecting Vietnamese human ethics from family, school and society that have been raised in the viewpoint of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the dedicated research works of scholars, the study and pointing out the complementarities and lessons learned from Aristotle's ethical thought are truly meaningful for perfecting Vietnamese human ethics today.
