 In theory: The thesis systematizes and clarifies basic theoretical issues on document valuation and the system of tools for document valuation, especially the application of these theoretical issues into the practice of building a system of tools for document valuation of Vietnamese universities.

In practice: The research results of the thesis are the basis for universities to build and use a system of tools to determine the value of archival documents in universities such as the list of records, the list of sources and components of submitted documents; the table of document preservation periods, the list of documents with permanent value, the list of simple destruction documents of the university.

12. Practical applicability: The research results of the thesis can be implemented within the scope of Vietnamese universities. They are documents used for research, study and teaching at training facilities for students majoring in Archival Studies at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
