This thesis systematically reconstructs the Party's guidelines on land issues and the process of implementing that land policy in Phu Tho province during the period 1953-1957.

The thesis has drawn lessons on implementing land policy for the present period by studying the process of implementing the Party's land revolution strategy in Phu Tho from 1953 to 1957.
