The knowledge about the disease is only focused on knowing the name of the disease, not aware of the cause of the disease; manifestations and symptoms of the disease, as well as not being well aware of treatment, the person treating it, the treatment time, the treatment method; and underestimating the child's ability. In addition, parents' awareness of care only focuses on learning care and physical care rather than mental care when their children are sick. The thesis also points out the correlation and predicts the relationship between parents' awareness and their care. The better the parents' awareness of the disease and care, the more frequent their care behavior is towards their children. In addition, socio-demographic variables such as education level, marital status, etc. are also correlated and predict parents' care behavior towards their children. Testing the impact of psychological education on parents also showed that parents' awareness of their children's illness and care changed for the better after each impact.
3.2. Conclusion
The thesis has outlined research trends in the world and Vietnam on parents' awareness of mental health disorders, mental health care, and the effectiveness of mental health care programs. Based on the inheritance and systematization of theoretical issues from domestic and foreign research works, the thesis has clarified the concepts: mental health, child mental disorders, mental health care; awareness of mental health care (chapters 1 and 2).
