Based on this, it proposes recommendations to support young people in developing sound family value orientations, leading to happy lives for themselves and their families.

3.1. Main results
This dissertation is a comprehensive, systematic, and in-depth scientific study on the family value orientation of young people, and the research results have the following new points:
3.1.1. In terms of theory
Research on youth's family value orientation provides further scientific and practical basis for the fields of family psychology, educational psychology, and youth value orientation research. The thesis systematizes literature on youth's family value orientation, develops concepts of orientation, family values, and youth's family value orientation. The thesis offers recommendations to contribute to the rational orientation of youth's family values in the current context.
3.1.2. In practice
This thesis reveals the current state of family value orientation among young people, clarifying the family values they aspire to and choose. Practical research shows that young people tend to prioritize traditional values related to parent-child relationships and family responsibilities; while values concerning marriage, childbirth, child-rearing, and gender roles within the family lean towards modern values. Furthermore, young men tend to preserve traditional family values more than young women.
3.2. Conclusion
The dissertation has reviewed global research trends on family value orientation. Building upon and systematizing theoretical issues from domestic and international research, the dissertation clarifies the concepts of: family values, family value orientation, and youth family value orientation (Chapters 1 and 2).
This study analyzes and evaluates the current state of family value orientation among young people, identifies some factors influencing their orientation, and points out trends in the changes within this orientation (Chapters 3 and 4).
Based on the research findings, the author has proposed several suggestions to help young people develop a rational family value orientation, inherit and promote good traditional family values, selectively adopt modern family values, and fight to eliminate outdated, inappropriate, and backward values.

The thesis is an in-depth, systematic and relatively comprehensive scientific research project on young family's value orientation, with new findings as follows:
3.1.1. About the theories of the thesis
Youth-oriented family value research provides additional scientific and practical foundations for the field of family psychology, educational psychology and value-oriented research for young people. The thesis has system of documents on youth's family-oriented values, constructing concepts of orientation, family value, family value orientation of youth. The thesis proposes recommendations that contribute to orienting reasonable family values for young people in the current context.
3.1.2. Practical results of the thesis
The thesis shows the current situation of youth's family value orientation, clarifying the family values that young people target and choose. Practical research shows that family values related to parent-child relationship and family responsibilities selected by young people tend to favor traditional values; content of marriage, childbirth - rearing children and gender role in the family in favor of modern values. In addition, young men tend to preserve traditional family values over young women.
3.2.Revisions
- The thesis summarizes the research trends in the world on family value orientation. On the basis of inheriting and systematizing theoretical issues from domestic and foreign research works, the thesis has clarified the concepts: family value, family value orientation, family value orientation of youths (chapter 1 and chapter 2).
- Analyzing and assessing the status of youth's family-oriented orientation, a number of factors affecting youth's family value orientation as well as showing the trend of change in youth's family value orientation (chapter 3 and chapter 4).
- From the research results, the author has proposed a number of suggestions for young people to have reasonable family values, inherit and promote good traditional family values, selectively receive modern family values; fight to eliminate obsolete, outdated and inappropriate values.
