11. Summary of new results of the thesis:
11.1. After an overview of the research problem, the author analyzed the related contents of previous studies. The author pointed out the missing contents in the studies to find a direction for in-depth research on working conditions and factors affecting the working conditions of domestic workers in Hanoi city.
11.2. The results of the thesis show that some working conditions of domestic workers are not guaranteed, such as: the rate of domestic workers with social insurance is currently very low; labor contracts are mainly oral agreements; most workers are untrained and workers buy health insurance themselves.
11.3. The thesis points out that there are many factors affecting the working conditions of domestic workers in Hanoi city. Among them, there are some main factors such as demographic and social characteristics of domestic workers (including age, place of residence before working as a domestic worker); understanding of some legal regulations...
11.4. After studying the current situation of working conditions and factors affecting the conditions of domestic workers, the author of the thesis proposed a number of recommendations for the Government, Ministries, Branches, relevant agencies and organizations; People's Committees at all levels, media agencies, job placement centers, training institutions, employers and domestic workers.

Practical applicability: Can be applied to research on building social security policies and improving the effectiveness of implementing legal regulations on domestic workers; Can be used as research and teaching materials on working conditions and social security policies in the field of Labor Sociology.

11. Summary of new findings of the thesis:
11.1. After reviewing past studies, the author indicates inadequacies of the researches so as to conduct further research on working conditions and key factors affecting the working conditions of domestic workers in Ha Noi city.
11.2. The research concludes that some working conditions of domestic workers are not well protected such as the percentage of domestic workers having social insurance is currently very low; labor contracts are mainly oral agreements; the majority of workers are untrained, and employees have to buy their own health insurance.
11.3. The thesis shows that there are many factors affecting the working conditions of domestic workers in Ha Noi city. In which, there are some key factors including demographic and social characteristics of domestic workers (such as age, living area before working as a domestic worker); and level of understanding of some legal regulations….
11.4. After studying the situation of working and key factors affecting the working conditions of domestic workers, the author makes some recommendations to Government, related Ministries, and relevant agencies; the People's Committee at the different levels, the mass media, employers, job centers, training institutions, and employees.

Practical applicability, if any: The research results of the thesis can be applied in studying reform of implementation of legal regulations on domestic workers and development of social welfare policies for domestic workers; used as research materials and teaching materials on working conditions and social welfare under labor sociology.
