- This dissertation is a specialized and systematic scientific research work on the role of Confucianism in the political life of the Ly-Tran dynasties through the Dai Viet History Chronicle.
- Based on an assessment of the values ​​and limitations of Confucianism's role in Vietnamese political life during the Ly-Tran dynasties, this thesis draws several historical lessons for contemporary Vietnamese political life.

This dissertation can serve as a reference for studying, researching, and teaching the history of philosophy, the history of Vietnamese thought, Confucianism, and Vietnamese Confucianism.

- To explore the relationship between Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, as well as their roles in the political life of the Ly and Tran dynasties in particular and the spiritual life of the Vietnamese people in general, along with the historical lessons learned.
