The thesis aims to clarifycharacteristics of postwar military writers' novelsSoldierof Trung Trung Dinh,Fightby Khuat Quang Thuy,Red Rainby Chu Lai. The thesis uses the main approach of poetics, combined with typological, comparative, historical - social methods, statistical operations, analysis, synthesis. From there, we present research and evaluation of novel characteristics from the perspective of reflective content through clarifying the topic, theme, character and plot. At the same time,research papercharacteristics of the novel from the method of expression through the clarification of language, art of character building, time and artistic space. Through that, we come to affirm the inheritance and innovations of post-war military writers in the development process of modern Vietnamese literature in general, literature on the theme of revolutionary war in particular.

The thesis aims to clarify features of the novels by post-war military writers includingLinh Tranby Trung Trung Dinh,Battleby Khuat Quang Thuy,Buyby Chu Lai. The main approaches of the thesis are poetics, combined with typology, comparison, historical-society, statistical manipulations, analysis, and synthesis. We study and evaluate features of those novels in the light of the content reflected by the themes, topics, characters and plots. Simultaneously, there are also several novel features revealed through expression method, considering arts of language, character building, time and space. Thanks to that, we come to affirm about the inheritances and innovations of the post-war military writers in the development of modern Vietnamese literature in general, and literature written on the topic of the revolutionary war in particular.
