The topic clarifies some theories about Graphic Information, electronic newspapers, and forms of graphic information representation on electronic newspapers. In which, the author has gone into depth, emphasizing the role of graphic information and the methods of representation of graphic information in the medical field on Vietnamese electronic newspapers. The author surveyed 03 electronic newspapers: Health & Life Online Newspaper, Vietnamplus, VNExpress Newspaper. Thereby, the author evaluates the advantages and limitations in terms of content, form, and impact of graphic information on the public and recommends some solutions to contribute to improving the quality of graphic information of Vietnamese electronic newspapers in the medical field, aiming at properly recognizing the important role of graphic information, improving the quality of content and form of representation of graphic information or studying the needs and habits of readers regarding this non-literal language form.
11. Practical application
The research results are the basis for reporters, those working in the media, and journalists to perceive and evaluate the attitudes and views of the press public towards graphic information in the medical field. From there, it is practical to improve the quality of graphic information articles and build a graphic design team, specializing this department in electronic newspaper editorial offices in particular and Vietnamese press editorial offices in general.
