11. Summary of thesis results:
The thesis conducts research on the competitiveness of Cao Bang tourist destinations, in which the research focuses on Pac Bo National Special Relic Site and Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area, which are two attractive tourism resources of Cao Bang tourist destination.
The project has systematized the theoretical basis, selected 9 factors affecting the competitiveness of Cao Bang destination and identified customer satisfaction as a factor to measure the quality of destination services. From there, the project has proposed a research framework including: 10 standards and 38 criteria (scales) to evaluate the competitiveness of Cao Bang tourist destination. During the research period, due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the project conducted research with 200 samples of domestic tourists. Analyzing the sample of domestic tourists will more clearly assess the impact of the scales. Next, the project has proposed more specific solutions for domestic tourists - the main market at present.
After analysis, the project proposed to focus on five major solutions: Increasing investment capital mobilization; Developing entertainment services; Diversifying and improving the quality of tourism products; Training and developing tourism human resources; Strengthening tourism promotion and advertising. In particular, the thesis also proposed a number of solutions and recommendations based on science and practice to improve the competitiveness of Cao Bang tourist destination in the coming time.
12. Practical applicability: the research will create a premise for research on the competitiveness of Cao Bang tourism destinations in particular and serve as a reference for the future development of Cao Bang tourism in general.
