Du Gia is a relatively new name on the Ha Giang tourism map, but the potential for tourism development in general and community tourism in particular has not been exploited. In addition to the value of majestic natural landscapes, diverse and rich resources, the Mong, Dao, Tay ethnic communities... also preserve traditional cultural features such as: Cap sac ceremony, new rice offering ceremony, crop praying festival, Gau Tao festival, Tet Nhay festival, fair, love market... Realizing the importance of tourism for the development of Du Gia commune, the thesis has conducted research and discovered new attractions for tourists, so that Du Gia is known more widely, and has a basis for planning more appropriate development policies.
Based on the established research framework, the topic qualitatively analyzed the impacts of tourism on people in Du Gia commune through secondary data. The results of this analysis are the basis for the topic to build a SWOT matrix to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges to improve the quality of community tourism in the coming time.
Based on the results of surveys and in-depth interviews with local people and tourists, the thesis provides specific evidence for the level of participation of local communities in tourism activities, evaluates tourism motivations, and customer satisfaction through tourism services and experiences.
Through the analysis results, the thesis has provided accurate theories and information on the data and situation of community tourism in Du Gia commune. This result is the basis for evaluating whether the development of community tourism here is really effective, thereby providing direct directions and promoting sustainable tourism development.
