Developing ancient village tourism brings many economic, social and cultural values. Our country has many ancient villages recognized as cultural heritages, but only a few of them have been put into effective tourism development. Nom village (Hung Yen) is an ancient village ranked as a National Historical - Architectural Artistic Relic according to Decision No. 50/QD-BVHTTDL (January 17, 2020) of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Nom village still retains many traditional values of an ancient Kinh Bac porcelain village, with all the elements to develop heritage tourism. Like many other ancient villages, Nom village is facing the challenge of strong industrialization and modernization. Research on the development of heritage tourism in Nom village provides theoretical foundations on cultural heritage and protection of heritage of ancient villages in the North, presents the practical development of tourism in Nom village, answers the question "Is heritage tourism the most suitable choice for tourism development in Nom village?", thereby providing recommendations and appropriate solutions to promote heritage tourism here.
