To meet the requirements of improving training quality and international cooperation, scientific research has become a mandatory activity for faculty members, researchers, postgraduate students, and undergraduates in the Faculty. To date, the Faculty's full-time staff have led and participated in 104 research projects (2 state-level sub-projects; 18 ministerial-level projects; 2 provincial-level projects; 54 national university-level projects; and 28 university-level projects); 8 international projects; 19 monographs; 40 to 50 articles annually published in nationally and internationally indexed journals; 30 textbooks and lecture notes that have been approved; and 15 to 2 student research projects each year.
Currently, the Department is focusing on the following main research areas:
• Psychosocial issues of different social groups.
• Mental health issues.
• Studies on psychopathology and the quality of mental well-being in the fields of healthcare, education, community, and work.
• Socio-psychological issues related to climate change, non-traditional security, etc.
