The meeting was attended by members of the Advisory Council for drafting the Training Program Standards (CTDT) in the field of Humanities at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including scientists and lecturers from the Ministry of Education and Training; University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU; Academy of Social Sciences and Humanities; Hanoi National University of Education; University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM; Danko Group Joint Stock Company; Can Tho University; Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Academy of Journalism and Communication.
Accordingly, the drafting committee reported the contents of the Draft Training Program Standards for the Humanities Field based on the content of Circular 17 of the Minister of Education and Training.
The Humanities field has many majors with relatively different characteristics, making it difficult to develop detailed training standards. Since July 2025, the Professional Board has implemented the work of collecting, reviewing, and analyzing documents describing services, activities, and jobs of the training sector; collecting, synthesizing, and reviewing legal documents of Vietnam related to training professions. The Professional Board has developed a survey form and organized a survey of the output standards of training programs at university and postgraduate levels and groups of professional work; organized the development of a draft of the training program standards for the Humanities field at university and postgraduate levels.
Dr. Ngo Dang Toan - University of Social Sciences and Humanities - representative of the Professional Board presented a summary report on the content of the Draft.
At the working session this morning, scientists and experts contributed their opinions on adjusting a number of criteria such as: output standards, study and research volume, training program structure and content, lecturer quality... to complete the Draft Training Program Standards.

The Professional Board and Secretariat have compiled and received comments from scientists and lecturers to adjust and complete the Draft.
As the leading training and research center in the country in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has been assigned by the Ministry of Education and Training to organize the development of training program standards for undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees in the field of Humanities (Vietnamese Language, Literature and Culture and Other majors).
The contents of this Training Program Standard will be issued by the Ministry of Education and Training and applied in the development of training programs for undergraduate, master's and doctoral levels in the field of humanities (Vietnamese Language, Literature and Culture and Other groups) nationwide.
