Introducing a new book: "Introduction to Information Management Textbook"

Aiming to build a standardized, high-quality system of textbooks and monographs, contributing to affirming its pioneering and leading role and position in training and scientific research, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, has approved a key project on publishing textbooks, monographs, and scientific products of the University.
TextbookIntroduction to Information ManagementThis textbook, compiled and published, is one of the first products of this project. It not only meets the requirements for innovation in training content and methods, but also provides a modern, interdisciplinary knowledge foundation for students in Information Management and Information-Library Science in the context of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and a knowledge society.
The textbook, edited by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Van Hung, is the result of meticulous research and compilation, reflecting the latest developments in information science in the context of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The textbook comprises 7 chapters, comprehensively covering the core content:
- Data, information, and knowledge
- Overview of information management
- Information management models
- Information systems
- Information security and information policy
- Digital transformation and the information industry
- Information management personnel
The curriculum provides an integrated approach between theory and practice, ranging from classic knowledge management models (SECI, WIIG, Choo, Boisot, etc.) to contemporary issues such as artificial intelligence, information ethics, big data, and information security.
