VNU-USSH and UED: Comprehensive cooperation in training and research activities

At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Bui Thanh Nam - Vice Chairman of the Council of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi said that VNU-USSH has had many cooperative activities with prestigious universities in the country and internationally to bring many learning opportunities for students, exchange lecturers as well as develop training and research activities of the school. In particular, VNU-USSH has had a number of activities to share benefits in training and research activities with the University of Education, University of Danang, from which the two units jointly use the knowledge of scientists in all regions to improve the quality of training.

The University of Education, University of Danang is currently training a variety of majors in the field of social sciences and humanities and has many similarities with the training activities of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, such as training in Vietnamese language and culture, history, literature, psychology, attracting domestic and international students.
Representatives of the two schools reached a high level of agreement on implementing student exchange activities and credit recognition. In addition, the two units will cooperate and support each other in innovating training programs, exchanging lecturers in both teaching and scientific research in an interdisciplinary, inter-school, and inter-regional manner; coordinating the organization of scientific seminars and conferences... In the near future, the two sides will sign a memorandum of understanding to implement the above-mentioned in-depth cooperation activities.
 

Previously, the University of Education, Danang University joined the network of universities training in basic sciences and attended the workshop with the theme "Basic sciences with national responsibility" organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU on December 9, 2024.
