Young cadres of the Headquarters Block participate in studying and political activities in Cao Bang

The "Return to the Source" activity was organized by the Youth Union of the Headquarters with the practical purpose of celebrating the 132nd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2022); welcoming the success of the 11th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, term 2022 - 2024. The delegation was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh, Vice Principal of the University; representatives of the leaders of functional departments under the Headquarters; members of the Youth Union of the Headquarters, adult members and family representatives.

During the journey to Cao Bang, the delegation visited places and lands associated with the Vietnamese Revolution: Pac Bo Special National Relic Site; Kim Dong Relic Site and Ban Gioc Waterfall.

Pac Bo National Special Relic Complex is located in Truong Ha commune, Ha Quang district, Cao Bang province, 52 km north of Cao Bang city center, the starting point (km 0) of Ho Chi Minh road.

The delegation offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and organized a coming-of-age ceremony for members of the Youth Union of the Headquarters Block. On this occasion, the Youth Union of the Headquarters Block had 09 members who became adults. Immediately after the ceremony, the delegation listened to instructions about the Relic Site with locations associated with Uncle Ho's activities: Karl Marx Mountain, Lenin Stream, Coc Po Cave...; offered incense to commemorate martyr Kim Dong (Nong Van Den) - Captain of the first National Salvation Children's Team of Vietnam.

At the end of the trip, the delegation visited Ban Gioc Waterfall and Truc Lam Ban Gioc Zen Monastery.

The “Return to the Roots” activity has helped create opportunities for exchange and connection between young cadres of the Headquarters. Thereby, grasping and listening to the thoughts and aspirations of union members and cadres regarding activities for young cadres in the Headquarters in particular, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities Youth Union in general.
