On the side of the Organizing Committee for the establishment of the Philosophy Association were Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Standing Member of the Philosophy Association, Head of the Faculty of Philosophy, Head of the Organizing Committee for the establishment of the Association; Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Chi My - former member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, former Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the Political Program of the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology, and 56 branch members who are officials with expertise in Philosophy in the University.

The Congress approved the Report on the situation of teaching and researching Philosophy at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the direction and plan of activities of the Association for the 2021-2026 term. The report emphasized the advantages and difficulties in teaching and researching Philosophy at the University; at the same time, recognized the achievements in political and ideological work, in teaching, research, and in social charity work. During the 2021-2026 term, the Philosophy Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU focuses on the key tasks of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members; supporting members in professional activities, improving the quality and effectiveness of Philosophy research and teaching through training programs, professional exchange seminars, scientific workshops; developing members in large numbers and strong in quality. In particular, training and supporting members in teaching and scientific research is given top priority with many specific plans and solutions.

Contributing to the Report and directions and plans for the Association's activities in the 2021-2026 term, members made many suggestions on professional training activities and scientific exchange cooperation between the Associations, thereby making recommendations and policy proposals to the Philosophy Association and higher management levels.

Speaking at the Congress, Prof. Dr. Le Huu Nghia - Chairman of the Philosophy Association emphasized that, besides scientific research, training is a strength of Hanoi National University, therefore, in the activities of the Association, it is necessary to combine research and training smoothly to further promote this strength. The Professor also believes that, with a long tradition, with a large number of members and strong quality, the Philosophy Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU will be a strong association, leading the movements of the Association and completing the goals set out in the term. On behalf of the School Board of Directors, Associate Professor Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh thanked the Board of Directors of the Philosophy Association for their attention and close guidance for the establishment of the Philosophy Association at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and believed that the establishment of the Philosophy Association at the school would be a new driving force, a bridge contributing significantly to the development of Philosophy in both research and training at the school in particular, and at Hanoi National University in general.
