Spring gathering and birthday celebration for retired teachers.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the University, extended New Year greetings to the teachers and their families, and expressed gratitude for their significant contributions to the development of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan also reviewed the outstanding achievements that the University had attained in 2020. With these achievements, the University continues to enhance its position domestically and internationally, becoming a destination for exchange with many heads of state and international leaders.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized that the development of the University today owes a great deal to the contributions of its retired faculty members. Despite their retirement, these teachers continue to directly participate in research and training activities, contributing valuable opinions to the University's development strategy. With their knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm, they are not only a valuable asset to the University but also a shining example for future generations to follow.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan also expressed his hope to continue receiving the help and support of former faculty members in the upcoming development journey, especially in the context of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities making great efforts to achieve the goal of internationalizing training and research activities and improving quality towards international integration.

On the occasion of the gathering, the school organized a celebration for the 80th, 85th, and 90th birthdays of the following teachers: Mr. Bui Thanh Quat, Mr. Le Van Lan, Mr. Phan Trac Canh, Mr. Duong Van Thu, Mr. Ton That Hap, Ms. Nguyen Phong Lan, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Khe, and Mr. Nguyen Kim Dinh.

Professor Vu Duong Ninh – Chairman of the Retired Teachers Association of the University, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan and Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa presented gifts to congratulate the teachers on their 80th, 85th, and 90th birthdays.

Associate Professor Nguyen Van Ham - Vice President of the Association of Retired Teachers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - on behalf of the Executive Board of the Association, reviewed the activities that the Association had undertaken in 2020; and affirmed the joy and pride of each member of the Association in witnessing the new developments of the University - a common home containing the dedication and affection of generations of teachers.

At the gathering, the retired teachers enjoyed unique folk music performances by artist Ngo Van Ba ​​and artists from the Center for the Preservation of Traditional Music. Singer and lecturer Duy Cuong (Faculty of Philosophy) also attended and performed musical numbers to express gratitude and wish a Happy New Year to the entire Association of Retired Teachers.
