On behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan sent New Year greetings to teachers and their families, and thanked them for their great contributions to the development of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan also reviewed the outstanding achievements that the School has achieved in 2020. With these achievements, the School continues to enhance its position domestically and internationally, becoming a destination for many heads of state and international leaders.
Professor Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized: the development of the School today is greatly contributed by the team of former teachers. Although retired, the teachers still directly participate in research and training activities, contributing valuable ideas to the development strategy of the School. With their knowledge, experience and enthusiasm, the teachers are not only the "valuable assets" of the School but also a shining example for the next generation to follow.
Prof. Hoang Anh Tuan also expressed his wish to continue receiving the help and support of former teachers in the upcoming development journey, especially in the context that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is making great efforts to realize the goal of internationalizing training and research activities and improving quality towards international integration.
On the occasion of the meeting, the School organized a birthday celebration for the teachers who are 80, 85, and 90 years old: Mr. Bui Thanh Quat, Mr. Le Van Lan, Mr. Phan Trac Canh, Mr. Duong Van Thu, Mr. Ton That Hap, Ms. Nguyen Phong Lan, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Khe, and Mr. Nguyen Kim Dinh.
Prof. Dr. Vu Duong Ninh - Chairman of the School's Former Teachers' Association, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa presented gifts to congratulate the teachers on their 80th, 85th, and 90th birthdays.
Associate Professor Nguyen Van Ham - Vice President of the Association of Former Teachers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, on behalf of the Executive Committee of the Association of Former Teachers of the University, reviewed the activities that the Association had done in 2020; at the same time, affirmed the joy and pride of each member of the Association when witnessing the new developments of the University - a common home containing the enthusiasm and affection of generations of teachers.

At the meeting, the former teachers enjoyed the unique folk music melodies performed by artist Ngo Van Ba and artists from the Center for the Preservation of Folk Music. Singer - lecturer Duy Cuong (Faculty of Philosophy) - also attended and performed musical performances to express gratitude and wish a happy new year to the entire Association of Former Teachers:
