Party Work Conference 2020

At the Conference, on behalf of the Party Committee, Comrade Nguyen Hieu (Secretary of the Party Committee) respectfully presented the Party Badge and extended congratulations to the Party members who had just received the prestigious Party honor and to the Party branches where these members are active; he also hoped that the Party members would continue to contribute their intellect, affection, responsibility, and dedication to the development of the School's Party Committee in the future.

The Party members of the Party Committee who received the Party Badge in 2020 include: Comrade Nguyen Hong Con (Linguistics Department Party Branch, 40 years of Party membership), Comrade Nguyen Vu Hao (Philosophy Department Party Branch, 30 years of Party membership), Comrade Vu Thi Phung (Archival Studies and Office Management Department Party Branch, 30 years of Party membership) and Comrade Trinh Ngoc Thach (Management Science Department Party Branch, 30 years of Party membership).

On behalf of the Party members receiving the Party Badge, Comrade Nguyen Hong Con expressed gratitude to the School's Party Committee for creating conditions for Party members to fulfill their duties, for the opportunity to be trained in an educational environment, and for developing their abilities to contribute to the overall development of the School as well as to the country's scientific and educational cause.

Representing the Party Branches whose members received the Party Badge, Comrade Dao Duc Thuan (Secretary of the Party Branch, Head of the Department of Archival Studies and Office Management) expressed gratitude to the University Party Committee for creating favorable conditions for the Party Branches and individual Party members to contribute to the University's development. He also congratulated, acknowledged, and expressed gratitude to the veteran Party members who have contributed to the University over the years, hoping and believing that those receiving the 30-year and 40-year Party Badges today will continue to work alongside the Party Branches, the government leadership, and other organizations to ensure continuous development in the future.

Also at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Hieu and the School's Board of Directors presented flowers to thank the comrades who had participated in the Party Committee of the 27th term and the Board of Directors in the past, including: Comrade Nguyen Van Kim (former Secretary of the Party Committee, former Vice Principal), Comrade Pham Quang Minh (former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, former Principal), and Comrade Tran Ngoc Lieu (former Party Committee member).

The School Board presented gifts to express gratitude to the colleagues who had served on the Board during the past period.

Following the directives of the Party Committee of Hanoi National University regarding the dissemination of the Resolution of the 6th Congress of the Party Committee of Hanoi National University, at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Hieu (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hanoi National University, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University) directly briefed all delegates on some basic contents of the Resolution. Based on this, he discussed the specific contents of the Resolution, linking them to the development of the action program and assigning working groups of the Party Committee to develop Resolutions and Conclusions of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for the period 2020 - 2025.

Following that, delegates attending the Conference discussed and provided feedback on the draft Resolution of the School Party Committee on "Improving the leadership capacity of Party committees and inspection and supervision activities". The delegates' suggestions will be incorporated, revised, and submitted to the Party Committee for approval at the upcoming regular meeting.

In order to improve the Party work skills of the Party Committee members of the Party branches for the 2020-2022 term following the Party Branch Congresses, the delegates attending the Conference also listened to a sharing from Comrade Nguyen Duc Ha, former Director of the Department of Party Organizations, Central Organization Committee, on Party building work and notes to further enhance the leadership capacity of the Party branches.
