The first stop for the delegation was the People's Committee of Giai Pham Commune. Here, the Retired Teachers' Association of the School had a meeting to learn about the culture and history of the Party Committee and people of Giai Pham Commune, Yen My District, Hung Yen Province – a land with a rich historical tradition and many talented generals.

Leaving the People's Committee of Giai Pham commune, the delegation went to offer incense in commemoration of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh in Giai Pham commune, Yen My district, Hung Yen province, to express their profound respect and gratitude to the outstanding disciple of President Ho Chi Minh, the General Secretary whose name is associated with the revolution in South Vietnam, the cause of national liberation, national reunification, and the cause of renovation today.

Next, the delegation visited the Memorial House of Lieutenant General Nguyen Binh – a man of exceptional military talent who was promoted to Lieutenant General by President Ho Chi Minh in 1948, and was the first Lieutenant General of the Vietnam People's Army. For his immense contributions to the nation, Lieutenant General Nguyen Binh was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces, the Ho Chi Minh Order, and the First Class Military Merit Order by the Party and the State.

Before leaving Hung Yen, the group of retired teachers visited Ghenh Temple in Ngoc Quynh village, Nhu Quynh town (Van Lam district) - a place that preserves the historical legacy of Empress Dowager Y Lan, a woman of exceptional talent and virtue, a model of virtue who dedicated her life to the people and the nation.

The cultural and historical exchange and field trip to Hung Yen left many beautiful impressions and emotions in each member. The members expressed their hope that the School and the School's Trade Union would continue to support the Association of Retired Teachers in maintaining and organizing more meaningful visits and exchanges.
