Comrade Nguyen Kim Son - Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi - emphasized in his speech: Social sciences and humanities are oriented towards the quality of development. The human resources and research products of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities serve the quality of development, the enjoyment of development, and are the foundation for development. To uphold the tradition and continue to make social sciences and humanities flourish, the University needs to focus on action, maintain organizational stability, unify management, propose more major science and technology programs, implement digital transformation, continue its role in policy consulting, and effectively carry out assigned science and technology tasks.

Professor, Doctor, Meritorious Teacher Phung Huu Phu - Standing Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, former Party Secretary and first Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, stated at the ceremony: The university has two great resources and sources of pride: the humanistic values from the era of the Faculty of Literature and the legacy of wisdom left by President Ho Chi Minh. The university needs to strive to instill humanistic ethics and Ho Chi Minh's wisdom in its faculty, students, trainees, and researchers… Preserving these humanistic values will help the university overcome difficult periods and move steadily forward on its path of development. At the same time, in the context where the issue of culture and human resources is being emphasized more than ever by the Party and the State, the university needs to seize this opportunity to leverage its strengths and contribute to the development of the country.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University), on behalf of the University's leadership, expressed gratitude to generations of teachers and proudly shared the achievements the University has attained in its 75 years of development, accompanying the country's innovation and integration. After 25 years of development within the structure of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the University has achieved stability in its faculty, expanded its training scale, made breakthroughs in scientific research, and promoted modernity and integration among its staff and students. The University has become an important institution for training, research, providing scientific services and policy advice, making practical contributions to enhancing the prestige and position of Vietnam National University, Hanoi in world rankings. The faculty and students of the university are committed to continuing to innovate to adapt to a world that is very different from 25 years ago, while always maintaining the constant values of "unity and humanity".

Professor Vu Duong Ninh, Chairman of the University's Retired Faculty Association, recalled the glorious past of generations of faculty and staff from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, who put aside their pens and books to fight for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, overcoming countless hardships to build the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with its academic prestige and developmental stature as it is today. Today, generations of faculty, staff, students, and alumni are working throughout the country, but they always remember the glorious traditions of the University, maintaining the bond of affection between generations.

Student Dinh Thi Thu Huyen (class K62 – Faculty of Literature) delivered a speech expressing her gratitude to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, expressing her pride in studying at a school with a rich tradition, and in receiving not only knowledge but also the love and care of her teachers.

Three outstanding individuals received commendations from the Minister of Education and Training: Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Former Rector of the University), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa (Vice Rector of the University), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Van Quan (Head of the History Department).

The following groups received commendations from the Minister of Education and Training: Faculty of History, Faculty of Anthropology, Faculty of Sociology, Planning and Finance Department, Organization and Personnel Department, Department of Japanese Studies, Department of Global History – Faculty of History.
