HSA Exam Round 3 at University of Social Sciences and Humanities attracted 900 students to participate

On April 8-9, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities successfully organized the 3rd Round - Hanoi National University's Competency Assessment Exam in 2023, attracting nearly 900 candidates from high schools in Hanoi and some neighboring provinces.
Following the success of the two previous exams, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has prepared the best conditions to ensure that the exam is conducted smoothly and safely: facilities (exam area, exam room, machinery system, internet), arranging medical staff, security, technical staff on duty 24/7 during the exam, professional and attentive invigilators and receptionists,...
The 2023 Hanoi National University's aptitude test consists of 3 parts in 195 minutes:
Part 1: Quantitative Thinking (Mathematics, 50 questions – 75 minutes).
Part 2: Qualitative thinking (Literature - Language, 50 questions - 60 minutes),
Part 3 - Science (Natural - Social, 50 questions - 60 minutes).
In which, Part 1 and Part 2: Knowledge in the 10th grade program: 10%, Knowledge in the 11th grade program: 20%, Knowledge in the 12th grade program: 70%. Part 3: Knowledge in the 11th grade program: 30%, Knowledge in the 12th grade program: 70%.
Immediately after finishing the test, students will know their scores. In 2023, more than 70 schools will use the results of the Hanoi National University's Competency Assessment Test as a basis for admission.
Implementing the core objectives of the new General Education Program (focusing on capacity development) and in line with the standards and trends of capacity assessment in the world, the test in the HAS exam is designed to assess the core competencies required of high school students: Problem solving and creativity; Vietnamese language skills, reasoning, logical thinking, calculation, data processing; and Ability to research, explore and apply science (Natural - Social).
According to the students after finishing the exam: the system of questions is from the general education program, covering many areas of natural sciences and social sciences, so to do well on the exam, students must have broad and comprehensive knowledge and should not study lopsidedly or memorize. In addition, to achieve high scores, especially to complete difficult questions (level 3), students need to be creative and apply highly, not just mechanically memorize knowledge in the high school program.
