The regulations on regular university admissions consist of 3 chapters and 12 articles, stipulating contents related to admission objects, admission methods, priority policies in admission, direct admission objects and priority admission objects, admission thresholds for training majors, application procedures, admission confirmation and responsibilities of related parties. The basic contents remain stable as in the previous year.
This regulation applies to units, organizations and individuals involved in the work of enrolling full-time university students in training programs awarded degrees by the Director of VNU, Principals of member schools and training programs in association with foreign educational institutions awarded degrees by VNU, and both parties jointly award degrees (not applicable to enrollment in joint training programs awarded degrees by foreign educational institutions).
In 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has a total enrollment target of more than 2,000 full-time undergraduate students allocated to 27 training majors, an increase of nearly 320 enrollment targets compared to the previous year.
At the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU still applies 5 admission methods: Direct admission and priority admission according to the current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Direct admission and priority admission according to specific regulations of VNU; Admission based on valid competency assessment test results (ĐGNL) organized by VNU; Admission based on international language certificates and other international certificates; Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2023.
