Notes on HSA exam procedures at the exam center located at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

On April 8-9, 2023, the Hanoi National University's High School Competency Assessment Exam (HSA) was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
 
To prepare well for the exam, candidates should pay attention to and complete the following 8 steps when taking the exam:
Step 1:Register for an account, select your exam session, pay the fee (fees paid are non-refundable); check your exam notification slip received via email or your exam session number at [website/link].http://khaothi.vnu.edu.vn/ orhttp://hsa.edu.vn/5-7 days before the exam, find out what items and documents are allowed in the exam room.
Step 2:Present atExam locationCandidates must arrive on time as indicated on their Examination Notification Slip. The organizing unit will greet candidates at the gate, provide guidance on disease prevention, and conduct security checks before they enter the examination area (the organizing unit does not provide safekeeping for candidates' belongings or personal items). They will also assist candidates in contacting their relatives if needed.
Step 3:PresentCitizen ID card(12 digits) and announcement of registration number for identity verification before entering the examination room; receive your exam computer assignment in the examination room. If you lose your Citizen Identification Card before the exam day, please contact the commune/district police to request a personal identification confirmation document to take the exam. At the examination site, the invigilator will take your photo for verification and identification of the exam candidate. The Atlas of Vietnamese Geography (without any additional characters) published by the Education Publishing House and one simple calculator are allowed in the examination room.

Step 4:Candidates must sit in their assigned seats in the examination room; they must read the summary of the Examination Regulations (candidate responsibilities, permitted items, prohibited activities during the exam, etc.). Candidates suspended for violating the Examination Regulations will have their exams stopped, their registration canceled, all exam results for the year cancelled, and their participation in the remaining exams suspended; relevant parties (High School, Department of Education and Training, etc.) will be notified.
Step 5:Receive your exam account slip and check your scratch paper. The scratch paper and account slip must be returned to the invigilator after leaving the examination room.
Step 6:Log in and read the on-screen instructions before taking the test. Select “Agree" to begin the exam. Check your personal information (full name, ID number) on the screen immediately after logging into your exam account. If necessary, you may only leave the exam room with the permission of the invigilator and under the supervision of a supervisor. CandidatesIt is not permitted to copy, discuss, disclose, or share any part or all of the competency assessment exam questions.(in written form, images, audio, etc.) with individuals/organizations, on mass media/forums, social networks without the consent of the VNU Examination Center after the exam.
Step 7:The test consists of 3 parts. Candidates should complete each part sequentially by selecting the answer by left-clicking the computer mouse on the empty circle (○). The computer will automatically register and display it as a black circle (●); do not click the computer mouse more than 2,000 times during the entire test. For fill-in-the-blank questions: enter the answer in the blank space as a positive integer, negative integer (e.g., -1), or simplified fraction (e.g., -3/4); do not enter units in the answer box. Candidates can only retake a question in the same part before the time runs out.
Step 8:At the end of the exam time or submission period, the screen will display the answers and EXAM SCORE for 60 seconds. Remember your exam score, return all scratch paper, account slips, sign the attendance list; inform the invigilator and check your ID card before leaving the exam room.
