To prepare well for the exam, candidates need to pay attention to fully performing the 8 steps below when taking the exam:
Step 1:Register an account, Select an exam session, Pay the fee (The fee paid is non-refundable); check the Exam Notification Form received via email or exam session registration number at
http://khaothi.vnu.edu.vn/ or
http://hsa.edu.vn/5-7 days before the exam. Find out what items and documents are allowed in the exam room.
Step 2:Available at
Exam locationon time as announced on the Exam Registration Form. The organizing unit will welcome candidates at the gate, provide epidemic prevention instructions, and conduct security checks before entering the exam area (the organizing unit will not keep the candidates' property or belongings), and assist candidates in contacting relatives if necessary.
Step 3:Present
Citizen identification card(12 digits) and notify the registration number to check your identity before entering the exam room; receive the location of the exam machine in the exam room. If you lose your ID card before the exam day, please contact the commune/district police to request a certificate of identity to take the exam. At the exam location, the exam supervisor will take your photo to prove and identify the exam candidate. The Vietnam Geography Atlas (without any other characters) issued by the Education Publishing House and 01 simple calculator are allowed in the exam room.
Step 4:Sit in the correct position in the examination room; read the summary of the Examination Regulations (candidates' responsibilities, items allowed in the examination room, things not allowed during the examination...). Candidates who are suspended for violating the Examination Regulations will be stopped from taking the exam, have all registrations canceled, all examination results of the year canceled, and will be stopped from serving the remaining examinations; notify relevant parties (High School, Department of Education and Training...).
Step 5:Receive the Exam Account Form and check the scratch paper. The scratch paper and Account Form will be returned to the invigilator after leaving the exam room.
Step 6:Log in and read the on-screen instructions before taking the test. Select “
Agree” to start the test. Check your personal information (full name, ID card number) on the screen immediately after logging into your test account. If necessary, you may only leave the test room with permission from the exam board and must be under the supervision of the invigilator. Candidates
It is not allowed to copy, discuss, disclose, or share part or all of the exam questions.(in writing, images, sounds...) with individuals/organizations, on mass media/forums, social networks without the consent of the VNU Examination Center after the exam.
Step 7:The test consists of 3 parts. Candidates do each part in turn by selecting the answer by left-clicking the computer on the blank circle (○), the computer will automatically record and display it as a black circle (●); do not click the computer mouse more than 2,000 times during the test. For fill-in-the-blank questions: enter the answer in the blank box as a positive integer, negative integer (eg: -1) or simplest fraction (eg: -3/4); do not enter units in the answer box. Candidates can only retake the question in the same part before the time runs out.
Step 8:At the end of the test or submission time, the screen will display the answers and EXAM SCORE for 60 seconds. Remember the exam score, return all scratch papers, account slips, sign the exam list; notify CBCT and check CCCD before leaving the exam room.
