In recent years, VNU, as well as the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, has had many different scholarship policies, including state budget and scholarships sponsored by domestic and foreign organizations and individuals, to encourage students' learning spirit and support poor students who have overcome difficulties to achieve excellent academic results. However, according to current state regulations, scholarships from the budget are only for students who are studying and have high achievements. Meanwhile, basic science majors have difficulty enrolling students and are currently enrolled in few students. Therefore, it is necessary to have policies to attract good students to enroll in basic science majors, thereby affirming the brand of training high-quality human resources of VNU in general.
Every year, students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have the opportunity to receive budget scholarships and scholarships from domestic and foreign organizations and corporations: Chung-Soo Foundation (Korea), AEON Foundation (Japan), Shinhan Bank (Korea), BIDV Bank (Vietnam), Danko Group (Vietnam), Lighting up Faith Fund, Dao Minh Quang Fund (Germany),... In addition, the school also implements many other policies: tuition fee reduction, rewarding students with academic and training achievements, rewarding students with scientific research projects, articles published in domestic and international journals, direct admission policy to higher levels of education (master's, doctorate),... creating very practical conditions and support, accompanying students studying at the school as well as attracting high-quality students from high schools across the country.
