II. UNIVERSITY ENROLLMENT
1. Candidates and conditions for admission
1.1. Candidates:- Vietnamese high school graduates or those with foreign diplomas recognized as equivalent.
- People with a secondary vocational diploma in the same field as the applied field and have completed the required amount of high school cultural knowledge as prescribed by law
(hereinafter referred to as high school graduation).
1.2 General admission conditions:- Meet the input threshold as prescribed.
- Have good health to study according to current regulations.
- Have full personal information and application documents as required.
- For candidates with disabilities or severe disabilities with reduced learning ability who wish to register for admission, the Admissions Council will consider admission to majors suitable to the candidate's health conditions.

2. Admission methodIn 2026, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU will enroll students according to 3 admission methods:
- Method 301: Direct admission and priority admission according to the current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).
- Method 401: Consideration of valid HSA test results of Hanoi National University.
- Method 100: Admission based on high school graduation exam results.

Candidates enjoy preferential policies for subjects and regions according to the latest regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Candidates whose foreign language certificates are converted into foreign language test scores in the registered admission combination (if desired) will be announced in detail in the official admission information.
During the admission process, there will be a difference in scores between the admission groups. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will announce the results of the high school graduation exam and the score distribution according to the regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

5. Specialization orientation
a) Oriental Studies:The Oriental Studies training program includes three majors: Indian Studies, Thai Studies, and Chinese Studies. After the first semester, the Faculty of Oriental Studies will divide the majors for first-year Oriental Studies students based on their wishes and learning results in the first semester, giving priority to students with HSK and HSKK level 3 or higher certificates for Chinese Studies, Thai language proficiency certificates for Thai Studies, and international English certificates for Indian Studies.

- Conditions for dual degree registration:
+ The major of the second training program must be different from the major of the first training program;
+ Have studied at least two semesters of the first training program;
+ The average score of all subjects from the beginning of the course to the time of registration for the second training program is 2.5 or higher and meets the input quality assurance threshold of the second program in the year of enrollment or the average score of all subjects from the beginning of the course to the time of registration for the second training program is 2.0 or higher and meets the admission requirements of the second program in the year of enrollment;
+ Students have an application to study a second training program and fully perform the obligations as prescribed by the training unit.
