In her welcoming remarks, on behalf of the Board of Directors, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong expressed her joy and gratitude for the Embassy's attention and favor shown to the university over the past years. Since 2009, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam have signed a cooperation agreement on education, training, and the development of Iranian studies in Vietnam. Since then, the two sides have successfully implemented many activities: exchanging lecturers and students, organizing academic exchanges, and establishing an Iran department at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. In particular, they organized beginner, intermediate, and advanced Persian language courses from 2012-2014. We highly appreciate the idea of organizing this course, which continues the effective cooperation between the two sides. Furthermore, this course is not only an opportunity for Vietnamese students to learn a new language, but also to explore the ancient culture of Iran, while also opening up new career opportunities for them. In anticipation of the upcoming 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Iran and Vietnam in 2023, we sincerely hope that both sides will have even more collaborative activities in the future.

The Ambassador emphasized: "The Persian language has a very long history. And for Iranians, the Persian language is like 'sweet candy,' and we warmly welcome you to the 'sweet world' of Iran. Participating in this course means not only learning a language but also understanding the culture. We highly value the significance of this course, and through it, we can spread our language and traditional cultural values to more Vietnamese people. Both Vietnam and Iran are located in important 'gateways' to Southeast Asia and the Middle East, so strengthening cooperation will open doors for both countries to access larger markets in these regions." We thank you for your interest and for registering for this course to learn about the sweet culture and language of our country.
