5. New announcements regarding foreign languages:
In addition to the foreign language certificates mentioned in the admission announcement, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) allows candidates to use the Aptis ESOL International Certificate (issued from November 16, 2022, by companies or organizations licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training under Decision No. 3646/QD-BGDĐT) with a level equivalent to level 3 or higher according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam, valid for 2 years from the date of the exam to the date of application, as proof of foreign language proficiency for master's and doctoral programs in 2023.
