The 2023 National Press Festival has the theme "Solidarity - Professionalism - Culture - Creativity", with the participation of 63 provincial and municipal Journalists Associations, 60 central and local press agencies. Attending the opening ceremony of the National Press Festival on the morning of March 17 were Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia; Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, along with many leaders of ministries, branches and a large number of journalists.
Following the tradition from previous years, the Institute of Journalism and Communication - University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized an exhibition booth at the Press Festival to introduce and promote its image, facilities, and training programs.
In addition, this is also a meeting and exchange space between generations of journalism students. Many alumni of the Institute who are working at central and local press agencies have taken the time to visit the exhibition booth. Student Doan Thu Thuy - Class K66 High Quality Journalism shared: “Coming to the Press Conference, I had the opportunity to meet and exchange with many former students who are directly working in journalism in many fields. Listening to their stories and working experiences has given me more practical knowledge."
The atmosphere at the exhibition booth of the Institute of Journalism and Communication is always exciting with many programs and activities following each other. Many special singing and dancing performances were carefully prepared by the Institute's students to perform at the Press Festival. In addition, there were also Q&A games, lucky draws with many attractive gifts. The colors of the Institute were also more clearly shown with the uniforms prepared for the members.

Many notable activities of the National Press Festival 2023At the opening ceremony on the morning of March 17, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh emphasized that the 2023 National Press Festival aims to honor the great achievements of the Vietnamese press, promote products associated with the activities and creative work of journalists nationwide; enhance exchanges and meetings between journalists nationwide and the public; encourage the press to perform well its functions and tasks, meeting the people's increasing demand for information. At the same time, it contributes to enhancing the role, position and prestige of the Vietnam Journalists Association in social life in general. This is also an opportunity to commend the contributions of organizations and individuals to the revolutionary journalism cause of the whole country.

These are the National Press A Award Reunion Seminar; AI Workshop and Creative Content Management in the Editorial Office; Launching Ceremony of the 2023 Press and Propaganda Award on Energy Saving and Efficiency; Creative and Proactive Youth Seminar in Digital Transformation; Seminar on Training and Fostering Journalism Skills on Demand; Final Round of the Open Journalist Singing Contest 2023; The Second Journalist & Public Opinion Newspaper Cup Football Tournament; Exhibition of Spring Paths; Display of Old Spring on Tet Newspapers... along with elaborate and unique art programs of the Youth Theater.

The 2023 National Press Festival takes place over 3 days, from March 17-19 at the Hanoi Museum (Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi).
