We are proud that a part of the most beautiful years of our youth belonged to Hanoi University of Humanities.

These were the simple yet deeply moving words, conveying the heartfelt emotions of newly graduated student Trinh Lan Phuong - a student of the 65th cohort - majoring in Social Work, speaking on behalf of nearly 300 new graduates of VNU-USSH at the Graduation Ceremony and Diploma Awarding Ceremony organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) on April 24, 2024.

Bachelor's Degree Award Ceremony – recognizing and honoring the hard work and dedication of VNU-USSH students.

The graduation ceremony and awarding of Bachelor's degrees were solemnly organized by the University with the participation of the Board of Directors, faculty representatives from the Departments/Faculties/Divisions, functional offices, and especially nearly 300 students who were recognized as graduating in the first batch of 2024, as well as a large number of relatives and friends who came to celebrate.

In recent years, with the spirit of accompanying and supporting students to receive their diplomas as soon as possible after completing the curriculum, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has organized approximately 4 graduation ceremonies per year instead of 1 or 2. In addition, throughout their studies, with enthusiasm, sharing, understanding, and dedication, the lecturers in the training units and functional departments have always supported and encouraged students to complete their university studies as quickly as possible. Therefore, many students have completed their training programs and graduated in just over 3 years, especially many graduating with excellent/outstanding grades and receiving prestigious bachelor's degrees, officially embarking on their career paths; many have received two second university degrees in just over 4 years (due to the university's dual degree program). Currently, most of the University's undergraduate programs have received accreditation according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training and AUN-QA, and students in accredited programs only need to graduate with a GPA of "Good" to be admitted directly to higher education. This is a significant advantage for VNU-USSH students.
On behalf of the University's Board of Directors, Vice Rector Dang Thi Thu Huong warmly congratulated the new graduates on their outstanding achievements, and expressed: "The bachelor's degree is the result of a journey of continuous effort, overcoming difficulties and hardships; the care and nurturing of family and loved ones; but it is also clear evidence of the philosophy of 'Improving the quality of training and putting the learner at the center' that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has always pursued."

"Four years of university isn't too long, but it's a crucial period for us to prepare ourselves, transitioning from naive high school days to adulthood, boldly pursuing the dreams and aspirations we've always cherished. That nearly four-year journey would be so much more lonely and challenging, and we might not reach the end without the companionship of our teachers, family, and friends every step of the way."
First, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the teachers, staff, and faculty of the University for creating a dynamic and creative learning environment, providing us with the best possible conditions to develop the necessary knowledge and skills. At the University of Humanities, we not only cultivate our knowledge but also receive invaluable life experiences from our teachers. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, we felt the invaluable support and companionship of the University and our teachers, ensuring our journey was not interrupted. All of this will be precious assets, enabling us to always be confident and steadfast wherever we are, in any circumstances. We thank our teachers very much.
To achieve the success we have today, we would not have been able to do so without the support of our seniors and fellow members of the Student Union, Youth Union, and various clubs at the university. They have helped us develop and improve ourselves in soft skills, social skills, and, most importantly, created the most beautiful memories of our youth.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to our parents and family – who have always been by our side, not only during our university years but also through every important milestone over the past 20 years and into the future. For nearly four years, we have remained steadfast because we know that our parents and family are always there, a strong support system, wholeheartedly encouraging and motivating us on our journey of self-discovery. And please rest assured, with what we have learned and gained at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, we believe we are fully capable of facing the challenges and obstacles on our future path.”
