The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is offering a new specialization: Doctor of Cultural Management.

On April 5, 2024, Vietnam National University, Hanoi issued Decision No. 1372/QD-ĐHQGHN on the promulgation of the doctoral training program in Cultural Management (code: 9229042) and assigned the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to organize the training.
Accordingly, the Cultural Management program, with the doctoral degree in Cultural Management (The Doctor of Philosophy in Cultural Management), has a training duration of 3 years for those with a master's degree and 4 years for those with a bachelor's degree.
In 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is expected to recruit 3-5 doctoral candidates per year in the field of Cultural Management through a selection process based on the evaluation of professional profiles as stipulated by Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
The program aims to train doctoral students in Cultural Management with a high level of theoretical and practical knowledge, specializing in cultural studies and cultural management, contributing to providing high-quality human resources for the country in the context of integration and globalization.
Graduates of the Doctoral Program in Cultural Management are high-quality human resources with in-depth, advanced professional knowledge and interdisciplinary thinking. They are capable of analyzing, evaluating, and proposing appropriate solutions to research, operational, management, leadership, planning, and policy consulting issues related to culture and cultural management. They possess the ability to creatively and effectively apply interdisciplinary and specialized knowledge and theories to identify and solve problems related to culture and cultural management; and the ability to connect relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals to implement research projects and programs related to culture and cultural management. Furthermore, PhDs in Cultural Management are capable of creating innovative cultural issues that impact the community and society, promoting traditional cultural values ​​in the context of cultural globalization.
