This morning, November 25, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, held the opening ceremony for the second intake of postgraduate training programs in 2025, welcoming over 400 newly admitted master's and doctoral students.
Among them are 115 doctoral students and 209 master's students; many of whom are former students and alumni who have chosen the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to continue their studies at a higher level.
In 2025, the university will offer admissions for 28 master's programs and 32 doctoral programs, employing a modern admissions process: evaluating professional profiles combined with direct interviews. This process allows the university to comprehensively assess the academic and research capabilities, professional experience, and suitability of candidates for each program.
Prior to the opening ceremony, the school organized the acceptance of admission applications and assisted new students and researchers in completing the necessary procedures.
Dr. Dinh Tien Hieu - Head of the Training and Student Affairs Department, announced the Decision on postgraduate admissions for the second round of 2025.
In his opening remarks at the commencement ceremony, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University, emphasized that a culture of quality is a core value throughout the training and research of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. In 2025, the university received over 800 applications for admission, with nearly 650 successful candidates. Although allowed to expand its enrollment quota, the university still limits the number of students admitted to ensure the highest quality of education and to facilitate students' pursuit of in-depth research.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized that a culture of quality is a key factor in the university's training and research activities.
Associate Professor Dr. Dang Hong Son - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, congratulated and offered some guidance to the new students and postgraduate researchers.
PhD candidate Do Thuy Vy (Institute of Journalism and Communication Training) expressed her honor to study at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - a university with a long tradition of high-quality training in the field of social sciences and humanities.
Ms. Le Thi Kim Tan (in charge of doctoral training) and Mr. Dinh Van Nam (in charge of master's training) introduced the regulations and schedule for postgraduate training at the university.
