Speaking at the reception, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan warmly welcomed the KOVA ARTS CENTER delegation to visit the University, and affirmed: "With the position of a leading unit in Vietnam in training and research in the field of social sciences and humanities in the direction of academic, specialized, interdisciplinary and sustainable development, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is always ready and eager to expand cooperation with academic organizations around the world to cultivate and spread the cultural values of the nation and connect the world's cultural quintessence with Vietnam".
Thanking the warm welcome of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for the delegation, Mr. Lee Kwang Chun (Director of KUVA ARTS CENTER) gave an overview of KUVA and proposed cooperation contents. KUVA ARTS CENTER is a prestigious cultural organization in Korea, a member of the Picasso Foundation headquartered in Spain, which has carried out many exhibitions, displays, and introductions of Picasso's masterpieces in Korea and some countries around the world. Through cooperation with artists, cultural and academic organizations, galleries, exhibitions, museums, art galleries, etc., this organization wishes to promote international exchanges and cooperation in culture and art.
Mr. Lee Kwang Chun emphasized: “We do not only stop at exhibiting works of art for art experts and artists, but also spread stories about history, culture, traditional art, and humanistic values within each work of art. Especially the story of the meeting between the genius painter Picasso and President Ho Chi Minh, and the affection and admiration of the famous painter for the heroic struggle of the Vietnamese people. Therefore, we really hope to cooperate with a prestigious university in Vietnam such as the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to spread those extremely precious historical and cultural values.”

Representatives of KUVA ARTS CENTER also shared information about the plan to organize a large-scale international painting exhibition in Vietnam in the third quarter of 2026 and proposed that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will be the scientific sponsor in organizing the event and at the same time host scientific seminars and discussions around the exhibition theme.
The two sides discussed and agreed on some basic cooperation contents such as: Organizing the exhibition of prints of Picasso's artworks right on the campus of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; organizing international painting exhibitions in Vietnam; organizing scientific seminars and talks to connect prestigious domestic and international experts and scientists to discuss topics of mutual interest.
Representatives of the two sides agreed to soon sign a cooperation agreement and realize the cooperation agreements in the coming time.
