The University of Social Sciences and Humanities promotes cooperation programs with Quang Ninh province.

Continuing to implement and expand the cooperation program with localities, from December 18th to 20th, Rector Hoang Anh Tuan and a delegation of scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities were present in Quang Ninh to participate in several scientific activities within the framework of cooperation between the University and Ha Long University and to promote cooperation with Cam Pha city.

On December 18, 2021, in Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh Province, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with Ha Long University, organized the national conference "The Position and Role of Thien Long Uyen in the Battle of Bach Dang in 1288". Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University, chaired the conference.
Later that same day, the two sides held a conference to evaluate and approve phase 1 of the cooperation program for researching the Thien Long Uyen relic site. Speaking at the working sessions, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a leading multidisciplinary research and training center in the country, encompassing fields such as history, culture, and heritage preservation and promotion. Historical research on the Battle of Bach Dang has shown that, right from the beginning of research into the Bach Dang victory in the 1950s, the Department of History, Hanoi University (now the Department of History at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities), actively took the lead in investigating and surveying the stake battlefields; researching and clarifying the content, developments, and battlefield of the Bach Dang victory in 1288.

The collaborative research program to clarify the position and role of Thien Long Garden in the Battle of Bach Dang in 1288 between Ha Long University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the workshop "The Position and Role of Thien Long Garden in the Battle of Bach Dang in 1288," is a continuation of the effective cooperation tradition between Quang Ninh and Vietnam National University, Hanoi in general, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular. The results of the cooperation between the two universities over the past period mark milestones in the realization of commitments and strongly demonstrate the promotion of cooperation between the two universities, especially in areas where the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has strengths and Ha Long University has needs, such as culture, tourism, languages, and communication.

On December 20, 2021, in Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh Province, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a working session with the Cam Pha City Party Committee to discuss the implementation of cooperation programs between the University and Cam Pha City. Attending the meeting were, on behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University, and several leaders of faculties and centers within the University; on behalf of Cam Pha City, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tu -Members of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Cam Pha City, and members of the Standing Committee of the Cam Pha City Party Committee were present. During the meeting, both sides agreed that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities would continue to strengthen cooperation and support Cam Pha City in research on history, culture, and other fields where the University has strengths and which are relevant to local needs.
