University of Social Sciences and Humanities promotes cooperation programs with Quang Ninh province

Continuing to implement and expand the cooperation program with localities, from December 18 to 20, Rector Hoang Anh Tuan and a delegation of scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities were present in Quang Ninh to participate in a number of scientific activities within the framework of cooperation between the University and Ha Long University and promote cooperation with Cam Pha city.

On December 18, 2021, in Uong Bi city, Quang Ninh, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with Ha Long University organized a national workshop on "The position and role of Thien Long Uyen in the Bach Dang victory in 1288". Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University chaired the workshop.
On the same afternoon, the two sides held a conference to evaluate and accept the first phase of the cooperation program on the research of Thien Long Uyen relic. Speaking at the working sessions, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a leading multidisciplinary and multi-field research and training center in the country, including the fields of history, culture, conservation and promotion of heritage values. The history of Bach Dang research has recorded that, as soon as the research on the Bach Dang victory was initiated in the 50s of the 20th century, the Faculty of History, Hanoi National University, now the Faculty of History of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, actively took the lead in investigating, surveying and researching stake fields; researching to clarify the content, developments of the battle, and the battlefield of the Bach Dang victory in 1288.

The program of joint research and clarification of the position and role of Thien Long Uyen in the Bach Dang victory in 1288 between Ha Long University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the past and the workshop "The position and role of Thien Long Uyen in the Bach Dang victory in 1288" is a step to continue the tradition of effective cooperation between Quang Ninh and Hanoi National University in general, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular. The results of cooperation between the two schools in the past are milestones marking the realization of commitments, and at the same time strongly demonstrating the promotion of cooperation between the two schools, especially in the fields where the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has strengths and Ha Long University has needs such as: culture, tourism, language and communication.

On December 20, 2021, in Cam Pha city, Quang Ninh province, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had a working session with the Cam Pha City Party Committee on the implementation of cooperation programs between the University and Cam Pha city. Attending the meeting, on behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, there were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University and a number of leaders of the Faculty and Centers of the University; on behalf of Cam Pha city, there was Mr. Nguyen Anh Tu -Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Cam Pha City and members of the Standing Committee of the Cam Pha City Party Committee. At the meeting, the two sides agreed: The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will continue to strengthen cooperation and support Cam Pha City in researching history, culture and other fields in which the University has strengths, in accordance with local needs.
