Professor Hoang Anh Tuan acknowledged the insights shared by Mr. Nicolas Dervaux and affirmed that the University is very willing to implement cooperation projects in the aforementioned areas with the Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation as well as educational institutions in the French-speaking community. At the same time, through cooperative activities such as publishing and translating French-language publications, the University hopes to contribute to the development of a community within its own institution. To initiate concrete cooperation, the two sides will proceed to sign a formal memorandum of understanding in the near future.
The Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegations hold diplomatic status and represent the institutions of the Government of the French-speaking Belgian Community, the Government of the Wallonie Region, and the French-speaking Community Committee of the Brussels Capital Region (COCOF) before the local authorities of the countries where the Delegations operate. The Representative Office in Vietnam was established in 1996. Over 25 years of developing cooperative partnerships, the Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation in Vietnam has become a trusted partner for Vietnamese ministries, research institutes, hospitals, universities, and agencies.
