Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan presents a souvenir to Mr. Nicolas Dervaux
Mr. Nicolas Dervaux expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome of the USSH and informed that the Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation has built cooperative relations with the Vietnamese government in 27 cooperation projects in sectors and fields such as health, education, environment, climate change response, tourism, culture, press and media and Francophone. The delegation expressed its desire to cooperate with Vietnamese educational institutions, including the USSH in projects related to social sciences and humanities, as well as in expanding and promoting French-language teaching in Vietnam.

Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan acknowledged the opinions shared by Mr. Nicolas Dervaux and affirmed that the University is very willing to implement cooperation projects in the above fields with the Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation as well as educational institutions in the French-speaking community. At the same time, through cooperative activities such as publishing and translating French publications, the University hopes to contribute to the development of a community right in its own institution. To initiate specific cooperation, the two sides will proceed to sign an official memorandum of understanding in the near future.
The Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegations have diplomatic status and are the institutional representatives of the Government of the French-speaking Community of Belgium, the Government of the Walloon Region, and the Commission of the French Community of the Brussels-Capital Region (COCOF) before the local authorities of the countries where the Delegations operate. The Representative Office in Vietnam was established in 1996. After 25 years of developing cooperative partnerships, the Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation in Vietnam has become a trusted address for Vietnamese Ministries, Research Institutes, Hospitals, Universities and Agencies.
