Prime Minister Appoints Mr. Nguyen Hieu to the position of Vice President of VNU

New Vice President of VNU Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hieu

New Vice President of VNU Nguyen Hieu, born on March 13, 1976; hometown: Trinh Xa commune, Binh Luc district (now Phu Ly city), Ha Nam province; graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Geography in 1996, a Master's degree in Geomorphology and Paleogeography in 2002, a PhD in Geomorphology and Paleogeography in 2008 from the University of Natural Sciences, VNU; appointed to the title of Associate Professor in 2011; fluent in English; has a high level of political theory.

The new Vice President Nguyen Hieu has held important management positions in VNU such as: Deputy Head of the Department of Geomorphology - Geography and Marine Environment, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Geography, University of Natural Sciences; Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of VNU; Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Party Committee's Organization Committee, Head of the Organization and Personnel Committee of VNU; concurrently Secretary of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities... Before being appointed as Vice President, Mr. Nguyen Hieu held the positions of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Head of the Organization and Personnel Committee of VNU; Secretary of the Party Cell, Head of the Organization and Personnel Committee of VNU.

Currently, VNU has 3 Vice Presidents: Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hai, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Bao Son and Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hieu.
