At the Workshop, there were 10 reports (out of 32 reports printed in the Workshop Proceedings) directly presenting research results, revolving around two main topics:
Ninh Binh pottery heritage through historical periodsand
Ninh Binh pottery craft: Preserving and promoting valuesNotably, there are reports presenting the results of excavations at the Man Bac archaeological site (Bach Lien village, Yen Thanh commune, Yen Mo district, discovered in 1998 and continuously excavated on a large scale for many years) showing that the site contains a huge amount of documents on stone tools, pottery, flora and fauna relics, and burial relics dating back nearly 4,000 years ago, reflecting very valuable information about the material and spiritual life of ancient Vietnamese people in the Pre-Dong Son period.
In addition, many reports have focused on researching and affirming the role of Ninh Binh pottery - a top pottery center in Northern Vietnam. At the same time, many studies have shown a picture of the process of recovering and developing pottery production in Bo Bat pottery village, Gia Thuy. On that basis, many models have been proposed to preserve and promote the value of ancient pottery heritage, both increasing the value of traditional crafts and developing tourism in a sustainable way, creating many jobs for local people.
Research group representatives presented several reports at the Workshop.

Today's workshop attracted the attention of hundreds of scientists, with 32 thematic reports focusing on clarifying the role and position of Ninh Binh pottery in Vietnamese history, while proposing many solutions to restore and promote the historical, cultural and economic values of this special heritage. With the position of a key training - research - consulting center in the field of history - culture - heritage - conservation and especially the harmony between research - conservation and exploitation - promotion of heritage, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the coming time will propose a deeper - broader cooperation direction, implementing a number of scientific activities to serve the socio-economic development strategy of Ninh Binh Province.
