On the afternoon of April 11, 2023, at the Hoa Lac National University Urban Area, a tree planting activity organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, took place to respond to the Government's "Million Green Trees - For a Green Vietnam" program and the "Making Hoa Lac Greener" program launched by Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2023.
The tree planting ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hieu - Vice Director of VNU Hanoi, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Truong - Vice Rector, and representatives of the leadership of units under the Rectorate.
The tree planting ceremony was attended by representatives from the Board of Directors of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and representatives from the leadership of various units within the university's administrative block.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hieu - Vice Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, highly appreciated the significance of the tree planting activity of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in contributing to the construction and development of a green and sustainable space in the Hoa Lac university urban area.
Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, shared the unanimous agreement of USSH in responding to the "Making Hoa Lac Greener" program launched by Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2023.
Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, the Rector of the university, shared that the "Making Hoa Lac Greener" tree-planting program of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) is a meaningful initiative, in which the University of Social Sciences and Humanities contributes a small part to creating a green space, an ideal learning and working environment for students and staff of VNU in general, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular. This is also the goal and ideal for building and developing Vietnam National University, Hanoi sustainably.
USSH staff and employees also expressed their joy, excitement, and pride in participating in planting trees to spread more green space in Hoa Lac. Each staff member eagerly awaits the next 5-10 years, when they will enjoy the clean, beautiful, and fresh environment in Hoa Lac that they themselves have cultivated.
