Since its establishment, VNU has cooperated with many domestic and foreign organizations and individuals to effectively develop and implement scholarship programs to support VNU students, including the Posco TJ Park Scholarship Fund, Korea and the Posco Scholarship Program, to encourage and motivate students to be enthusiastic in studying, training and scientific research.
Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Tran Quoc Binh, Head of the Department of Politics and Student Affairs, emphasized: The effective implementation of the POSCO scholarship program over the past 19 years has not only contributed to providing financial support for excellent students of VNU to facilitate their studies and scientific research, but also gradually developed the cooperative relationship between the Posco TJ Park Foundation, Posco Group and VNU in particular, and between the two peoples of Vietnam and Korea in general. Up to now, 305 outstanding students of VNU have received valuable scholarships from the POSCO TJ Park Foundation.
The Head of the Student Affairs and Politics Department congratulated the excellent students representing the schools who received the valuable POSCO scholarships and believed that they would maintain their outstanding academic and training achievements so that in the near future they would contribute their intelligence to build VNU and make important contributions to the development of the country and especially to the Vietnam - Korea relationship.

On behalf of the Scholarship Fund, Ms. Bang Mi-jeong - Secretary General of POSCO TJ Park Foundation expressed her pleasure in awarding scholarships to outstanding students of VNU this year. Ms. Bang Mi-jeong said that the Posco Scholarship Program for Asian Universities is the first overseas private scholarship program in Korea. Since its first implementation in 2005, the program has supported about 5,500 students receiving scholarships from 16 countries.
Posco is proud of its partnership with VNU - the best university in Vietnam, which has been training many leaders and making great contributions to the development of Vietnam. She hopes that the excellent students receiving the scholarship will become future global leaders who contribute to creating a better world.

Mr. An Sung Gu, Deputy General Director of Posco Vietnam, shared the difficulties in the process of selecting suitable students to receive scholarships from the TJPark Foundation, because all students of VNU are excellent, worthy of the title of the leading university in Vietnam and the region.

He said that he has witnessed many generations of students who, after graduating, continued to study for master's and doctoral degrees in Korea, then returned to Vietnam and took on key positions in government agencies, or held leadership roles in domestic and foreign enterprises, or became professors, doctors, leading scientists, etc. They have made great contributions to the remarkable development of Vietnam. He reminded the students to always try, make efforts, and work hard... to contribute to creating a strong Vietnam in the future.

Representing the 10 excellent students receiving scholarships, Doan Thi Hong Ngoc, a third-year student majoring in Management Information Systems at the International School, VNU, shared her joy and expressed her gratitude to VNU and the POSCO Scholarship Fund. Hong Ngoc said: “The POSCO Scholarship is an important milestone in my learning journey, marking my continuous efforts and affirming my belief in the path I am pursuing and further understanding my responsibility to strive further, not only for myself but also for the sustainable development of the community.

POSCO Scholarship not only provides material support but also motivates students to strive harder in their studies, helping them strengthen their confidence in their choices and strive to become useful people for society. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is honored to have two students: Le Thi Nhu Huong, a third-year student majoring in Journalism (Institute of Journalism and Communication) and Vu Van Oanh, a third-year student majoring in Tourism and Travel Services Management (Faculty of Tourism Studies).

Unable to hide her happiness, Le Thi Nhu Huong, a student majoring in Journalism at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, shared her pride in the school she is attending, because the school has cooperated with many large organizations and corporations to create many scholarship policies, motivating and supporting students. Nhu Huong shared that to receive this meaningful scholarship, students themselves must make great efforts throughout the learning and training process and especially need to participate in many scientific research activities, experiences, ... to perfect the necessary skills. Only then can students meet the requirements of businesses.
