International Cultural Day 2024: Unite and spread Vietnamese culture

The International Cultural Festival 2024 is a place to honor the cultures of countries as well as the cultural exchange between Vietnamese and international students. This is an annual event held every New Year, with elaborate preparations from staff, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language. International students from many countries were very excited and surprised to participate in Vietnamese folk games such as bamboo dancing, throwing con, showing off their dexterity with betel wrapping, participating in a fashion show, and solving crossword puzzles about Vietnamese and world heritage. The 12 booths of international students and Vietnamese students were decorated with unique cultural products and traditional dishes of the countries: China, Russia, USA, Japan, Korea, India, Australia, Laos, Cuba, Germany, Italy, France, Slovakia... In addition, students from all over the world also participated in activities to experience Vietnamese culture such as calligraphy, fortune telling...   Performances imbued with the national identity were also brought to the stage of the 2024 International Cultural Festival by international students with skillful dancing, brilliant costumes, fresh expressions, and especially the love for the homeland and country that was spread during the festival.
“International Cultural Festival 2024” ended in a warm atmosphere of friendship between teachers and students, between friends from many different lands around the world gathered here - Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU. It is also Unity Carnival that has opened up many opportunities for international and Vietnamese students to understand the traditional culture of other countries, opportunities to exchange, learn and accompany each other on the journey of studying in Vietnam as well as spreading the identity of countries around the world.
