In 2021, under the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the youth movement activities of the Capital in general and the youth of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU in particular were more or less affected. However, with the creativity and enthusiasm of the Union members, Youth Union members, and Students, many youth activities of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU were carried out in special forms and ways of organization, receiving the enthusiastic response of young people.
In the first months of 2021, the Youth Union - Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities launched programs and competitions with new organizational forms but still carrying the inherent identity of the Humanities Youth. Typical among them: the competition "I am a Humanities student", the competition "My class is number 1", the competition "Humanities Leader", the program "Farewell to summer" or the volunteer activity "Green Humanities" - "Trao vo confession"... with thousands of students participating in the movement, but the most prominent of which is the competition "The Face USSH 2021".

On September 25, the contest "The Face USSH 2021" in a series of activities to welcome new students of Humanities - "Take Off" was officially launched. The contest consists of three rounds: Preliminary (expected from October 4, 2021 to October 14, 2021), Final round (expected from October 14, 2021 to November 30, 2021) and Final night (expected to take place in early December). With the theme "Shining heart", the contest is a playground for young people of the School to improve their knowledge, practice their skills and at the same time find a representative face for the School's Youth with the criteria of elegance, dynamism, intelligence, and humanity.
