Doan Huong Ly, a female student possessing all the qualities of beauty, talent, and intelligence, overcame many contestants, successfully completed all rounds of the competition, and won the championship title of The Face USSH 2020.

Huong Ly, born in 2002, hails from Hanoi and is currently pursuing a dual degree in Religious Studies and Journalism at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Through continuous effort and dedication, this talented young woman has achieved many accomplishments in her studies and extracurricular activities. Notably, Huong Ly won the The Face USSH 2020 competition while still a freshman. Recently, she also excelled in receiving the "PEM Ambassador" award in the PEM's Awards competition and achieved a good academic record last year. "All my achievements are proof of my continuous efforts, and I am very proud of them, but I never put too much pressure on myself," Huong Ly shared.

From her time as a freshman, Huong Ly registered to participate in and became a collaborator of the "Nang Hong Nhan Van" program. She is also a member of the first generation of PEM - the Public Speaking & MC Club - to this day. Besides her activities and studies at university, Huong Ly has also tried her hand at several fields such as: MC, actress, and photo model. She has appeared in television dramas such as: "11 Months and 5 Days," "The Season of Finding Flowers Again," and most recently in the music video "No Need to Try" by young artists MCK and Tlinh. When asked about these experiences, she was extremely enthusiastic: “Recently, I was honored to be the person connecting the new students and teachers in the Orientation Week program for students of the QH-2021-X cohort as the MC. Besides that, I also had the opportunity to host the 'Ringing the Golden Bell - My Class is Smart' competition last academic year. For me, these are all valuable experiences, valuable assets for the future.”

A year after winning the title, Huong Ly has accumulated many valuable experiences. In the future, the image she aims for as a student is one of dynamism, beauty, and creativity. To achieve her goals, she is determined: “No matter what field or role I'm in, I will always learn from those around me. Especially after achieving certain accomplishments, I need to try even harder and strive more…”

Sharing more about The Face USSH 2020 competition, Huong Ly said: “When I learned about The Face USSH 2020 competition, there were only about 3 hours left before the registration deadline. I immediately opened my phone and filled out the application in a rush mixed with a little nervousness. Honestly, I didn't expect to make it so far and achieve such a good result. I was most impressed and loved the final round: The Wisdom round. In this round, contestants filmed a video and shared their thoughts on their favorite proverb. Through this round, contestants had the opportunity to reveal the depth of their thinking, their ingenuity, and their reasoning ability. It can be said that this is the most important round, contributing to the assessment of the contestants' abilities, acting as a magnifying glass to find The Face USSH.”

When asked about her feelings at the moment of her coronation, she was a little emotional: “Hearing that Doan Huong Ly had won the championship, I was surprised and very happy. At that moment, I felt that all my efforts, all the expectations of those who believed in and supported me, had been rewarded deservedly. I wouldn't dare say that my performance was the most meticulous and well-invested, but it was my whole 'treasure,' containing my passion and sincere heart. I don't have any secrets to getting through the competition rounds, perhaps only my utmost effort and determination not to give up. Because for me, even if I didn't win the championship title, I had already conquered myself and become a stronger version of Huong Ly than before…”
