The school-wide blood donation program attracted a large number of teachers, parents, and over 1,000 students from both within and outside the school who registered to donate blood.
This is an annual program with profound humanitarian significance, contributing to spreading the value of the noble act of donating blood to save lives. This year, the 15th "Humanitarian Sunshine" program was very successful, collecting 421 units of blood.
With the message "Bringing sunshine back – Giving love," the program truly connects compassionate hearts with patients, helping to alleviate the suffering of patients in need of blood and their families. At the same time, through this program, the Humanities Youth Blood Donation Team hopes to raise awareness and attract the participation and support of students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular, and society in general, regarding the humanitarian blood donation movement.
The activities of the school's Youth Union, especially humanitarian and community service activities, always receive the attention of the school's Board of Directors, faculty, and students. Even more wonderful is that through the students, the message and humanitarian significance of the activities have been spread, so the school's Youth Union blood donation program has also received the support and participation of parents.
Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) participated in the blood donation program along with the students.
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Chi, Lecturer at the Faculty of International Studies, participated in the blood donation program.
Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Huyen, a lecturer in the Department of Anthropology, participated in the blood donation program.
A first-year student emotionally shared: "Before entering the university, I was already very impressed with this activity of the Youth Union of Hanoi University of Humanities. Today is my first time participating, and my parents are very supportive. I am truly moved to see the teachers, senior students, and fellow students lining up very early to register for blood donation. I am very proud and happy that I have contributed a small part to help patients who need blood."
The 15th "Humanitarian Sunshine" program was a great success and left unforgettable impressions on everyone who participated.
