The school-wide blood donation program attracted a large number of teachers, parents and more than 1,000 students inside and outside the school to register to donate blood.
This is an annual program with profound humanitarian meaning, contributing to spreading the value of a noble act: donating blood to save lives. This year, the 15th "Nang Hong Nhan Van" was very successful, collecting 421 units of blood.
With the message “Calling the sun back – Giving love”, the program is truly a thread connecting kind hearts with patients, contributing to easing the pain of patients in need of blood and their relatives. At the same time, through the program, the Youth Team for Humanitarian Blood Donation also hopes to raise awareness, attract participation and support from students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular and society in general for the humanitarian blood donation movement.
The activities of the School Youth Union, especially humanitarian activities and community service activities, always receive the attention of teachers in the School Board of Directors, teachers, lecturers and students of the whole school. Even more wonderful is that through the students spreading the message and humanitarian meaning of the activities, the School Youth Blood Donation Program also receives the agreement, support and participation of blood donation from parents.
Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) donated blood at the program with students.
MSc. Nguyen Thuy Chi - Lecturer of Faculty of International Studies participated in donating blood at the program.
Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Huyen - Lecturer of the Faculty of Anthropology participated in donating blood at the program.
A very emotional first-year student shared: "Before entering school, I was very impressed with this activity of the Youth Union of Hanoi University of Humanities. Today, it was the first time I participated, my parents were very supportive and I was really moved when I saw teachers, seniors, and students in the school lining up very early to register to donate blood. I am very proud and happy because I have contributed a small part of myself to help patients in need of blood."
The 15th "Humanistic Pink Sunshine" program was a great success and left unforgettable impressions in the hearts of each participant.
