On September 27, 2025, the Faculty of Linguistics, Vietnamese and Vietnamese Studies organized an academic seminar with the theme "The issue of Chinese in Vietnamese language research". This is one of the practical activities towards the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the University of Letters (1945 - 2025), the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (1995 - 2025) and the 100th anniversary of the birth of scholar Phan Ngoc - the first Head of the Linguistics Group of Hanoi National University.

Implementing the cooperation program between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province, Hung Vuong University plans to organize a national scientific conference with the theme: "Connecting and promoting the cultural values ​​and resources of Phu Tho province to serve tourism and socio-economic development in the new era".

Within the framework of the scientific task of "Researching and promoting the values ​​and human resources of the Red River Delta to serve the country's development in the new period", on September 20, 2025, the Project Management Board of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-Hanoi organized a workshop with the participation of many prestigious scientists in many fields.

On the morning of September 12, 2025, the Advisory Council of the Humanities Field at all levels of higher education (Vietnamese Language, Literature and Culture group and Other groups) had a working session to complete the Training Program Standards of the Humanities field.

The research results were announced by scientists on August 31, 2025 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi at the launching ceremony of the book series "Research on National and Territorial Sovereignty in the direction of a comprehensive and holistic approach to Vietnamese History", attracting the attention of agencies, organizations and scientists.

A scientific conference with the theme “The role of scientific and technological information in socio-economic development” was held at Ho Chi Minh City National University on August 29, 2025 with the participation of nearly 500 delegates including leaders, scientists, experts, businesses and students, to clarify the strategic role of scientific and technological information (S&T) in the digital age and artificial intelligence.

The seminar organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training) on ​​August 28, 2025 received many comments from managers and scientists from universities across the country.

From August 20-22, 2025, the International Conference on Information, Library and Publishing Science - ICLISSP2025 was held at the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE), Quy Nhon (Gia Lai). The event gathered more than 150 delegates who are scientists, policy makers, managers, researchers and graduate students from 11 countries and territories. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities of Vietnam provided a training course on AI for librarians at this Conference.

On August 12, 2025, scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) received and worked with Professor Pietro Masina, Editor-in-Chief of European Journal of East Asian Studies (EJEAS).
