On the morning of April 3, 2013, the leaders of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities worked with the inspection team from the Central Propaganda Department to review the results of Party and political work.

In accordance with Official Letter No. 827/ĐHQGHN-KHCN dated March 20, 2013, from the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, regarding the development of the science and technology (S&T) plan and budget for 2014, the University requests that all units summarize their S&T activities for the 2012-2013 academic year and propose S&T tasks for the 2014 fiscal year with the following specific contents.

On March 28th and 29th, 2013, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with Johannes Gutenberg University (Mainz, Germany), organized an international conference: “Ethics and Technology”.

On March 28th, during his visit to Vietnam, the Minister of Science of the State of Bavaria (Federal Republic of Germany), Dr. Wolfgang Heubish, took the time to visit and work with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Accompanying the Minister were representatives from more than 10 universities from the State of Bavaria.

On March 27, 2013, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a scientific seminar on the topic: "Draft amendments to the 1992 Constitution, amendments concerning the political system and the organizational structure of the State apparatus of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam."

A seminar to contribute opinions on the Draft Law on Science and Technology was organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on March 25, 2013. The seminar was attended by experts and managers in the field of policy science from within and outside the university.

On March 25, 2013, Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh, Vice Rector of the University, met and worked with Professor Inoue Tomokatsu from the Faculty of Arts, Saitama University (Japan).

On March 24, 2013, the Faculty of Information and Library Science solemnly held the graduation thesis defense ceremony for 32 students of the QH-2009-X cohort.
