Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 827/ĐHQGHN-KHCN dated March 20, 2013 of Hanoi National University on the development of plans and budget estimates for science and technology (S&T) in 2014, the University requests units to summarize S&T activities in the 2012-2013 school year and propose S&T tasks for the 2014 fiscal year with the following specific contents.
1. Summary of science and technology activities in the 2012-2013 school year
1.1. Assessment of the implementation of science and technology mechanisms and policies
1.2. Evaluation of the implementation of science and technology tasks- Evaluate publication work through indicators: number of research works published in domestic and international journals; number of monographs. - Evaluate the results of organizing scientific seminars and conferences. - Evaluate the results of participation in implementing key State-level S&T programs, independent State-level S&T tasks, research cooperation tasks according to the Protocol, VNU-Hanoi-level topics, grassroots-level topics and other topics and projects. - Evaluate the results of participation in implementing cooperation programs and projects with ministries/sectors, enterprises, and localities (if any). - Evaluate the results of implementing international cooperation programs and projects. - Evaluate the results of implementing scientific services and technology transfer (if any). - Evaluate the results of implementing and managing capacity building projects (if any). - Evaluate the work of developing human resources for S&T, building strong research groups. - Evaluate the scientific research activities of young staff and students. - Science and Technology Awards. - Outstanding results, shortcomings and proposed solutions.
2. Proposed science and technology tasks for fiscal year 2014
The units propose a plan for science and technology tasks in 2014 (in accordance with the plan for the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 school years) with the following contents: - Propose group A and B topics at VNU level; propose basic level topics. The School will prioritize topics with scientific orientations that are in line with the School's science and technology orientation until 2020, serving and contributing to improving the quality of master's theses and doctoral theses (with topic registration form attached). - Propose a plan to organize seminars and other scientific activities of the unit (with attached project). The School prioritizes seminars with the participation of other units in organizing and contributing funds. (

3. Propose published or unpublished works for publication in English
Units propose scientific works for the School to select and publish in English with an average rate of 01 article/staff (the list is arranged in order of priority from top to bottom), 01 monograph/unit. The School requests Heads of units to implement the above contents, report to the Board of Directors in writing through the Department of Scientific Research Management before April 10, 2013 (Wednesday) and send the file to the Email address: thuloankh@gmail.com.
