The 5th Expanded Literature Faculty Drama Night was impressive and successful in its final round on April 3, 2013. The quality of the drama teams, the professional stage, and the enthusiastic support of over 500 spectators made the 8th floor of building E erupt with emotion.As the final major competition of the 2013 Youth Month, the 5th Expanded Literature Faculty Drama Night, organized by the Faculty's Student Union and Student Association, received timely attention and encouragement from the Faculty leadership, the University's Youth Union, and many other lecturers. This year's drama night continued to feature a judging panel comprised of experienced lecturers and researchers in drama: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Duy Hiep (Head of the Western Literature Department), Mr. Tran Hinh (Head of the Art Studies Department), and Mr. Nguyen Hung Vi (Lecturer in Folklore Literature). Before the final round, 14 plays competed in the preliminary round on March 27, 2013, to select the 9 best performances for the final night. The audience at the 5th Expanded Literature Faculty Drama Night experienced a full range of emotions, from humor and satire to tragedy and contemplation. Commenting on the competition, Professor Nguyen Hung Vi emphasized the triumph of spoken drama in tonight's performance. The Literature Faculty's spoken drama night is a place that nurtures and develops student spoken drama at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, a welcome sign amidst the gloomy atmosphere of modern spoken drama. Comrade Nguyen Duc Ha, Secretary of the Literature Faculty's Student Union, shared: “We believe in the development of the expanded Literature Faculty's spoken drama night and always welcome exchange performances from drama groups inside and outside the university in accordance with the stated spirit.”
